Say hello to David: your creative team of one (but with big energy).

Most days, it’s just David making the magic happen. But when the workload gets wild or the deadlines ridiculous, he assembles a small squad of brilliant humans — Meghan, Cendrine, and Katrina — to help push pixels, solve problems, and keep things looking sharp.

About

David Vink

Hi, I’m David — founder of FoxCamp Studio. I didn’t originally set out to start a company, but in 2017, Lesley Plumley from LP Events strongly encouraged me (read: pushed me) to take the leap and even secured my first client, Judo Canada. I assumed it would be a one-time project; instead, it opened the door to a steady stream of work. Apparently, there’s quite a market for design. Who knew? (Spoiler: everyone except me.)

The name FoxCamp is a nod to my family history. My dad suggested naming the business after his mother’s maiden name, Voskamp. I declined — largely because it sounded more like a 19th-century law firm than a creative studio — but when I learned it translated to “fox camp,” the branding lightbulb went off. So FoxCamp was born.

In 2025, I added “Studio” to the name as the work evolved from a freelance hustle into an actual creative practice, with occasional collaborators joining to keep things interesting (and sane).

Nine years and 96 clients later, FoxCamp is still small, still personal, and still committed to smart, thoughtful design — with just enough humour to keep things fun.
